Hello DA,

I get a lot of questions from interested individuals about me and my work. Here is a brief rundown of the reasons why I'm here, and where I'm going. Or something.

First off, to answer the question I get at least once a day: I use Poser 8 currently. I have used Poser since it's 4th version around 2002.

I came to DA to share my 3d art that I used to create for tabletop roleplaying games I used to be a part of. I have always been fascinated by video game graphics, but I never thought that I had the "math brain" I assumed it required to make them. Poser allowed me to create models and be creative rather than having to learn something insane such as Maya; though now, with the experience I have garnered over the past several years, I believe I would have a good head start on such a program.

I used to play WoW a lot following my tabletop days, so I tried to re-create my characters (and others) with this program and it brought me a lot of hits and interest. People were interested in who Airyanna was and what her story was about, so that led me to my next project, a novel depicting the character's complete story from beginning to end.

Along that journey, I learned a lot about writing and my characters, and how much I loved them. As a result, I have decided to re-write the book without the crutch of WoW as a world-backdrop. In the meantime, I am always refining the models that depict the characters found in that book and future writings.

I will not be posting the re-write here for copyright reasons. However, if anyone would be interested in a copy, I'm fairly sure I will be able to send you one once I have a good start on it.
